Normally E3 is the place where game companies make big announcements for huge games and new consoles. Nintendo it seems will be announcing the first NX news in Fall 2016 instead.
CEO for Nintendo Canada, Pierre-Paul Trepanier, was interviewed by French website La Presse. Mr Trepanier gave an approximate time frame as to when the first news about the Nintendo NX will drop our way.
He said: “We decided to focus on Zelda (at E3). We’ll talk about the NX fall. At that time, it will be 100% NX.” This is exciting news for those wanting to know how innovative the new console is.
Nintendo will be facing stiff competition again as the company isn’t the only console maker releasing new hardware in 2017. Microsoft just announced at E3 2016 it will be releasing the Xbox One Project Scorpio in Fall 2017. Sony is also jumping on the bandwagon with the PS4 Neo.
Fall is usually between the months of September until November so this is when we may see what the Nintendo NX looks like. It’s rumored the console might be playable at some gaming events being held in September. Hopefully Nintendo talks about it soon as they have kept quiet about it for a long time now.
