Atlus is doubling down with the Persona dancing spin-off series. The Japanese company has presented today Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night, two brand new games for PS4 and PSVita that take advantage of the renowned soundtrack of the series. As their titles reveal, each game is focusing on a specific main entry of the series, allowing players to replay most of the music while going through gameplay mechanics similar to other musical games.
Both titles follow the steps of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, a spin-off of the fourth entry released on PSVita that presented a brand new story with a lighter tone, and allowed fans to reconnect with the main characters after the events of the main game.
Atlus has not revealed any story details for these new games, but at least the trailers preview some of characters that will be back for some more action. In the case of the Persona 3 cast, the graphic upgrade for the PS2 models is obvious, and will make fans thirsty for a PS4 version. An official website for both games has been open.
The announcement has taken place during the Persona Super Live P-Sound Bomb!!!! 2017 event, where Atlus also unveiled Persona Q2 for Nintendo 3DS.
Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night will be released in Spring 2018 in Japan for PS4 and PSVita. Watch the trailers below.
