During E3 2015 we got a chance to sit in on a presentation of PES 2016 where we were shown the game and some new features that fans can expect from the upcoming soccer title.
As we were watching the presentation which was done to us by Adam Bhatti, European Product Manager for Pro Evolution Soccer 2016, we couldn’t help but compare it to another existing soccer franchise. It seemed though that the PES 2016 teamand Konami was making great strides to try their best.
It was at this point that Bhatti made a bold statement:
“We’re going for a triple-A title this year and I think every year with PES is kind of like ‘okay guys this year we’re going to really own this thing more, or this thing over here’. It’s never doing a great triple-A job on every single aspect of the game….We really feel that this year we managed to tick all those boxes.”
It isn’t surpising given that the RPG elements of each player is a lot deeper, especially in MyClub and MyPlayer mode. Importing images for creation of emblems for MyClub is now possible as well as deeper negotiations within each aspect of the game when trading players.
PES 2016 is set to release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on September 15th.
