Sony announces that a new firmware is in the works for the PlayStation 3 console, firmware revision 3.72. Â The update will be available “soon” for the console, and will address system stability and improved network functionality. Size was not described so it could impact how quickly you can hop on to play a few rounds of Resistance 3 tonight.
If you haven’t logged on to the PlayStation Network recently, you’ll also be asked to update your PSN Terms of Service. Â There, it was found that Sony is asking all users to defer any legal claim to damages that arise from illicit activities on their site, networks, and other areas that the PSN encompasses.
On a brighter note, Sony also announced that PSN users will be getting access to DC Universe Online for free in the near future.
