Pokemon Sun and Moon Gets Four More Mega Stones

Pidgeotite, Steelixite, Heracronite, and Houndoominite Mega Stones are now available in Pokemon Sun and Moon. To get them players have to enter a special code to redeem the giveaway. Keep reading to find out how to do that.

To get your four new Mega Stones in Pokemon Sun and Moon just follow these steps:

Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
Select Receive Gift.
Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, and then Yes again to connect to the Internet.
Enter your password – AZUL
Watch as you receive the Mega Stones.
Speak to the deliveryman in any Pokémon Center to pick up your Mega Stones.
Be sure to save your game!

That last step is much more important that you might think. You can only redeem this code one time, so if you do so and don’t save the game after collecting, you effectively block yourself from getting these Mega Stones.

Mega Evolution played a huge role in Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire. However, the mechanic was pulled back a lot for the latest games, Sun and Moon. Game Freak has been backfilling this absence though, allowing players to get a lot of the Mega Stones that weren’t available in the game at launch.
