The Project Spark Beta extends to the Xbox One today. While it’s been available on Windows 8.1 since December, today marks the first chance for Xbox One owners to test drive the creation tools from Team Dakota and Microsoft.

The Project Spark Beta allows creators to use the “developer grade toolset” to make their creations. Participants can make their own creations, jump into other creations from the community, and even collaborate with other creators in Project Spark.

The beta works across platforms via the power of the cloud, creations can be accessed on a Windows 8.1 device and/or on the Xbox One.

Project Spark is due out of beta later this year. Interested parties can find beta signups at the following link. Join Project Spark
