This feels like almost the end of an era as the weekly updates to PS Plus are coming to an end, instead opting to release all content at the beginning of each month instead of spreading it out week to week as it has always been. With having the list of games for June prior, we knew what game was coming, so most of this week’s update is about the sales.
For those that have a PS Vita, you can get Mutant Mudds Deluxe for free this week as long as you are a PS Plus member. The big difference is that usually most games are up for a few weeks, but with the transition coming next month, all current PS Plus games added to the Instant Game Collection will be removed after this week.
This list includes: Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate and Trine 2: Complete Story for PS4, NBA 2K14 and Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time for PS3, and Terraria and Mutant Mudds Deluxe for PS Vita. If you have any interest in any of these, make sure to at least start a download for it by next Tuesday, July 1.
Of course, we also have some sales for PS Plus members, but this week non-members can also save, with Sony choosing to also have their “Summer Sale” at the same time as Steam. There are also some other discounts for the week as well. The following are on sale for the next week:
