PS3 gamers will get an extra hour of gameplay for Assassin’s Creed III

Ubisoft continues to ensure that come October and the launch of Assassin’s Creed III, gamers will experience the longest and most ambitious installment in the illustrious franchise to date. According to box art posted on Amazon UK, players engaging in that experience on the PS3 will get get to do so for about an hour longer than everyone else.

The box art states that the PS3 version of Assassin’s Creed III will include an additional hour of gameplay, though it doesn’t detail how exactly the content will elongate the campaign.

Sony and Ubisoft clearly have a close working relationship when it comes to the Assassin’s Creed franchise and exclusive content. The PS3 saw exclusive launch DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and was also given hosting privileges for an exclusive beta for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Additionally, Sony will be launching a limited edition Assassin’s Creed III bundle equipped with a custom-designed PS3 and special copy of the game.
