PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds just launched on Xbox One, marking the massively popular multiplayer shooter’s debut on consoles. To celebrate this, Microsoft has begun bundling the game with their other recent big release, the Xbox One X. Starting on December 17th and going until the end of the year, select retailers will packaged PUBG with every single Xbox One X purchased.
There’s no list of retailers, so if you want to take advantage of the program, you’ll want to check with your local retailer. You can slo head to the Microsoft Store, where all Xbox One X consoles will definitely come with a copy of PUBG for free thank to this deal. Others will certainly join in though, so be sure to look nearby to find one.
PUBG has definitely been one of the biggest gaming stories of the year, releasing as a small indie title before becoming a juggernaut on PC. Its release on console has been highly anticipated, and will remain an Xbox One exclusive for the foreseeable future. A PS4 release isn’t out of the question though, it’ll just be a while before Sony can secure the release.
