For the better part of a few hours, many people have been having trouble connecting to the Rainbow Six Siege servers. Things have not improved.
Here’s what Ubisoft posted on the official forums: “We are currently investigating an online services issue impacting Rainbow Six: Siege on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we will be updating this thread as new information becomes available. Your patience is very much appreciated as our team works to resolve this.” UPDATE: Our technical teams are still working on the issue. We appreciate your understanding.
The first update was posted 10 hours ago. The second update was just written a few minutes ago as of time of writing. Many people have voiced their frustrations online via the Twitter page for Rainbow Six Siege.
The main issue is connecting to online games. Since the game is online heavy, this is an even bigger annoyance. Unlike previous games in the series, there’s no story mode to keep you occupied in the meantime.
If you are having trouble connecting to Rainbow Six today, don’t worry as the servers are having issues. Just look for the Twitter page for future updates. They have posted constant updates every few hours or so.
Update: Ubisoft posted on Twitter: “The issue should now be resolved. Thank you for your patience“
