ReCore Announced As Exclusive New Xbox One IP From Inafune

The Microsoft E3 conference kicked off by showing off Halo 5: Guardians, but it quickly transitioned to something completely new and unexpected.

A brand new IP from Keiji Inafune and the makers of Metroid Prime are here with Recore, a whole new experience on Xbox One. This comes from Inafune and Comcept and Armature Studio, who is made up of some former Retro Studios developers that have mostly handled remasters so far, but also are behind the upcoming Bloodstained as well.

Nothing but a CG trailer was shown here for ReCore, so little is known about this game at all. All we see is a female protagonist and some sort of robot as they traverse through an arctic landscape. So we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
