ReCore may have launched in a buggy state that took several updates in order to smooth out the rough edges, but the game’s creators have nevertheless been committed to the game to ensure fans enjoy what they paid for. Those very fans will also have a big update to look forward to on the horizon, as HDR support is in the works.

The news was revealed by Xbox Studios GM Shannon Loftis on Twitter, who said that ReCore “should get the HDR update in the new year. Hope you love this game as much as I do. A-OK!” This was then confirmed by Xbox technical director Mike Ybarra, who said “Recore with HDR? Yes, it’s coming.”

Of course, this will only apply to those who have an Xbox One S and a 4K TV, as you won’t be able to appreciate the enhancements that HDR brings otherwise.

ReCore’s most recent update addressed a variety of issues, which included reducing the game’s long load times and improving the audio and visuals. You can learn more about that by clicking right here.
