Jason West and Vince Zampella may be best known for their leadership of the team that brought you Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and maybe even more famous for the fiasco that ensued the release of Modern Warfare 2, where the studio heads became embroiled in a bitter love triangle between Activision, EA, and themselves.  Moving forward, the pair formed Respawn Entertainment.  The new studio has been highly secretive about what they are working on at this point, but recently they started doing a bit of teasing.

The studio has just brought on Matt Codd to act as the art director for Respawn Entertainment’s first game.  Codd, who is a film veteran worked in the art departments of several blockbuster movies.  These include 12 Monkeys, Men in Black, and Saving Private Ryan.

It’s been rumored that Respawn is working on Sci-fi shooter, but it hasn’t been confirmed.  Only a lone blurry image exists in the wild of what the new studio is working on, but with the talent that migrated from Infinity Ward to Respawn, it’s definitely one game that should be on your radar.
