Some small new information has been revealed about the combat system in Dragon Ball Fusions. It sounds like the system is different from past Dragon Ball video games.

The information comes from the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. ShonenGamez translated the scan and posted the interesting parts on what it says.

First of all, it says that “All fusion world fights are played with action and command battles”. Since Dragon Ball Fusions is an RPG, fights will play differently than in other Dragon Ball Z video games.

One unique thing that you can do is to “check your radar and use the most optimal commands in order to beat down your opponents”. You are also granted a “special attack boost” if your health is low.

They also teased that the “new tactical battle system is refreshing”. Not only that, but “when you eliminate your opponents, you can make allies.” Allies are essential in the game as you can form a party.

Lastly, it was revealed that first print copies of Dragon Ball Fusions comes with a code to download a Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku partner character. You will also receive a special Dragon Ball Heroes “Gohanks” EX card.
