Andy Serkis (Snoke) has confirmed that he will start filming for Star Wars: Episode 8 later this year. However, the actor has not yet read the script for the movie.

Serkis was interviewed by the BBC earlier this month where he admitted that he doesn’t know anything about the next Star Wars movie yet.

He said:Well that’s because I don’t know anything…. I’m due to be filming and I haven’t even seen the script yet.” This goes to show us how secretive Disney is with the script as even Supreme Leader Snoke himself is oblivious to the story.

A lot of people are curious to know more about Snoke in Star Wars: Episode 8. The character only appeared as a hologram in Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens and his actual identity was never revealed. All we know is that he convinced Kylo Ren to join the dark side.

The most popular fan theory is that Snoke is Darth Plagueis. Plagueis was the teacher to Emperor Palpatine and was a powerful Sith Lord that was able to create life and prevent people from dying.

We won’t find out what will happen in Star Wars: Episode 8 until December 15th, 2017. Snoke’s last line in The Force Awakens was that he said he was going to complete Kylo Ren’s training.
