Sony has recently posted a new teaser image on their Facebook page, which is causing quite a bit of speculation this morning. The image is making its rounds on social networks, forums, and of course Reddit, where everyone’s got a guess as to what it could be.
Sony has said that they’ve got more games to share in the coming months leading up to the launch of the PlayStation 4, so it could very well be a new game that we’ve yet to hear about. As the image says, “When Worlds Collide” could suggest that it’s some sort of Vita x PS4 type game, but that’s only speculation at this point.
Sony isn’t saying when they’ll announce what this mystery teaser might be, but being convention season we may hear something next week during San Diego Comic-Con. If not there, Sony will have ample opportunity for announcements in the weeks ahead. Gamescom, Tokyo Games Show, PAX West, and other conventions will give them a chance to gives us even more reasons to pick up a PS4 this holiday season.
Then again, this very well could be related to all that PlayStation TV talk from a couple of days ago, when it was discovered that Sony trademarked “PlayStation TV” again.
