Disney has released a small teaser video looking at some of the deleted scenes from Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens.

The deleted scenes will be included for the Blu-ray release of Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens. The Blu-ray will be out in North America on April 5th, 2016.

There will be six deleted scenes in total, but the teaser video shows a preview for two of them. The scenes look cool in their own right and it would be interesting to know why they were cut in the first place.

Anyway the first scene that was cut is one when Kylo Ren explores the Millennium Falcon. It is a potentially powerful moment since Kylo Ren may have seen the ship when he was a child. The scene also tells us that Kylo Ren knows that Han Solo is near.

The other scene that was cut is when Han Solo, Chewbacca and Finn are trying to escape Maz Kanata’s castle. The First Order invades the castle and has them all cornered. It looks like this particular scene will have a bit of action.
