It looks like Capcom has narrowed down the release date month for Street Fighter 5 as March 2016.
UK Magazine Shortlist has published an extensive preview for Street Fighter 5. They note the game is expected to launch in March 2016 for both PS4 and PC.
This falls in line with Capcom stating Street Fighter 5 will be out this financial year. This means the game will be out before March 31st, 2016. The March release month is looking very likely.
Street Fighter 5 is expected to sell over 2 million copies. Sony is sure to give the game a big marketing push. It’s also great to see a legit new Street Fighter game come out.
Direct sequels for Street Fighter games usually takes many years to come out. Street Fighter 2 was re-released many times before Capcom decided to make Street Fighter 3. The gap between Street Fighter 3 and 4 was a long 12 year wait.
Street Fighter 5 will be showcased next week at E3 2015. It’s expected the game will have a big showing at Sony’s E3 presentation. They’ve finally revealed a new level this week that is set in London.
We also got a glimpse of M. Bison in Street Fighter 5 a few weeks ago too. Hopefully Capcom announces several new fighters next week.
