To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Tekken series, Bandai Namco is hosting a special event for it that will reveal some new information on Tekken 7.
As announced on the official Tekken website, Bandai Namco is hosting a special event celebrating the 20th anniversary for the Tekken series. This event will be streamed on Japanese website “niconico“. The event will be broadcast on December 7th from 12pm to 6pm Japanese time.
Some of the guests confirmed for the stream/event include Tekken 7 director Katsuhiro Harada and cosplayer Yuriko Tiger. Some other guests are promised to appear during the event as well.
Apart from remembering how great the Tekken series is, Bandai Namco will also reveal some new information for Tekken 7. There will also be a special exhibition tournament for Tekken 7 so we should be able to see some more gameplay from the game too.
The only things we have seen from Tekken 7 so far have been from the arcade version. The game will be out in Japanese arcades in early 2015. Bandai Namco have yet to announce the console platforms that the game will be out on. There are strong chances it will be on the PS4 and Xbox One though.
