Tekken 7 has been out for just under a week and not everyone is having a smooth experience with the game. Â Acknowledging user complaints on the official site, the Tekken team has issued a statement regarding the problems with Ranked matches in Tekken 7.
“We have recieved inquiries from a number of customers regarding situations in which they appear to have trouble matching with other players in Ranked Match. Â We are currently investigating the issue and plan to address the problem through an online update scheduled to modify the game spec and improve matching. Â Player and opponent character will no longer be displayed when searching for a match in Ranked Match.”
As it stands, Tekken 7 doesn’t have all that many online modes for its players to use to begin with. Â Taking ranked matches out of the equation for many would limit those options even further. Â No details were given on the timeline for this patch, but we’ll most certainly be checking it out when it arrives. Â During our time with the game, we didn’t see any of the issues in Ranked Matches that many are complaining about.
Tekken 7 is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Â You can check our full review of Tekken 7Â for more details about the fighter.
