The Amazing Spider-Man 3 Movie Had A Weird Story

Some new details have been revealed for what the canceled The Amazing Spider-Man 3 movie could have been about.

Some spoilers for the first two movies will follow so read at your own discretion. Anyway, it sounded like the third movie would have had a weird story

Denis Leary (who played Captain Stacy) was recently interviewed by IGN. According to him, his character would have been revived as well as some other characters that died in the previous films.

Leary said that the possible plot point for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 movie was for Peter Parker to use some type of formula to resurrect dead people. He said there was a discussion to bring back Captain Stacy.

Most people will know that Gwen Stacy died at the end of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Peter Parker must have been so depressed that he wanted to find a way to bring dead people back to life.

ComicBookMovie notes this formula could be related to the character of Venom. In the Ultimate Spider-Man comics, Gwen Stacy comes back to life via the help of Carnage’s symbiote.

Not only could Parker revive the Stacy’s, but this could include Uncle Ben and even his parents. The writers for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 were the same people that wrote Star Trek Into Darkness. I’ll let you put the two things together to see where I’m going with this.

Anyway, The Amazing Spider-Man 3 movie won’t be made as Sony and Marvel will be rebooting the character.
