The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses is finally getting a CD release. We don’t have a ton of the details just yet, but in our recent interview with the producer behind the show, Jason Michael Paul, he revealed that they are prepping a Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses CD release, and that news on it will be “released soon,” with pre-orders starting on the official Zelda Symphony website.
You can read the entire interview right here, with more details about the past, present, and future of the long running symphony series. The series has been running for a few years, with music from all aspects of the Zelda universe. We’ve only seen bits and pieces of these tracks released publicly, with those wishing to hear the wonderful music of the franchise brought to life having to wait for the show to travel to their area.
There have been other CD releases of music from The Legend of Zelda, but those have not been from the official Symphony of the Goddesses shows. Instead we’ve seen select releases of in-game music, or orchestral renditions from other arrangements. The Symphony of the Goddesses series has fine tuned a bunch of the music from the series, so getting it in a CD and digital download release will be a huge thing for fans.
Be sure to check out our entire interview for more on The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses. The show continues to grow as more games get released in the series. They recently announced their 2017 tour dates, with new music being added for Breath of the Wild, and some favorites being brought back due to fan request. For Zelda fans, the show is a must-see at some point in their life. I’ve gone a few times already and am definitely looking forward to getting the music into my personal collection.
