Respawn Entertainment is proud to announce today that Titanfall 2 has gone gold. The game is ready to be shipped in one month’s time.
Respawn Entertainment’s Vince Zampella announced on Twitter:Â “Congrats to the #Titanfall2 team on going GOLD!” Main development is done so there should not be any last minute delays of any kind.
This is great news for people looking forward to playing Titanfall 2 this October. We have seen some significant delays recently. Final Fantasy 15 was supposed to be out tomorrow, but got pushed back to November. The Last Guardian had an October release date, but is now out on December 6th.
The biggest absentees have been Gran Turismo 7 and South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Both games were scheduled to be out in November and December respectively, but have now been pushed back to uncertain dates in 2017.
Titanfall 2 is supposed to be a more content heavy video game compared to the first title back in 2014. It finally adds a single player campaign and more Titans have also been included. Not to mention it’s the first time that the franchise will be hitting the PS4 console. The first game was only available for PC, Xbox One and even the Xbox 360.
