Titanfall 2, the highly anticipated sequel has officially been revealed with a brand new teaser trailer that promises a greater unveiling on June 12th. The 45 second video doesn’t feature any actual gameplay footage, but does give a better look at the world and story that will be featured in the game. It also makes firm the fact that Titanfall 2 will hit PS4, Xbox One, and PC, after being a Microsoft and PC exclusive last time around.
Actually, from just this short trailer we can see a few improvements over the original Titanfall. There seems to be a heavier story emphasis, as small as it might be. This was a major complaint for the first game, which was really just a set of multiplayer mechanics, rather than a solid single player campaign. Remedy Entertainment has promised more of a campaign for Titanfall 2, so look forward to more info on that later on.
You also get a glimpse of a new melee weapon for the Titans. Flashing a sword at the end of the video, it looks like we’ll be going full Power Rangers with Titanfall 2. How this will implement into the gameplay is still a big question though, so be sure to check back on June 12th, during the EA Play press conference before E3 2016.
