Ubisoft Confirms New Assassin's Creed Game in 2012

Amid their financial reports, Ubisoft has revealed that they will be releasing another Assassin’s Creed title in 2012.  Yves Guillemot made the announcement during the company’s earnings call, but did not provide any specifics concerning the details about the just announced title.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has become one of the most popular franchises this generation amongst gamers on all platforms.  With Ubisoft have already announced that this year’s Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will close the book on the Story of Ezio.  Who will be carrying the lead role for the franchise this time next year, is certainly something to look forward to.

First things first, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations arrives next week, and then we’ll see where the story takes us from there.  Likely down the rabbit hole, but it wouldn’t be an Assassin’s Creed game without that, now would it?
