An upcoming Splatoon gaming tournament is going to give away the Nintendo NX console to each player on the winning side. A great prize, although we still don’t know what it looks like yet.

As announced via a press release, Nintendo and ESL are teaming up to do weekly ESL Go4Splatoon tournaments. They are set to start this Sunday at 16:00 CEST and is open to all players across Europe.

The tournament will last for six months and this will culminate in a grand final showdown. The winning team from each month will try and compete to win the Nintendo NX console as the grand prize.

Here’s the official details: Teams ready to put their skills to the test can sign up on the ESL Go4Splatoon website, where further details about tournaments, alongside full rules and regulations can be found. Regular updates are posted on the Splatoon Facebook page and the ESL Splatoon Twitter account.

Not just one Nintendo NX console is being handed out either. Each player from the winning team will receive one. This is very cool although as aforementioned, we don’t know what it looks like yet. This could be a sign that it will be revealed soon. Stay tuned for TGS 2016 as it’s rumored to be announced there.
