Valkyria-Chronicles-4-2

Sega has released a new video preview of the hotly anticipated Valkyria Chronicles 4, this time focused on presenting the main figures of the East Europan Imperial Alliance, which will make the mission of the Squad E a challenge of legendary proportions. The video introduces Crymaria Levinc, Klaus Walz, Forseti, Heinrich Belgar, Nikola Graf, and Chiara Rocino, who will try to stop the Squad E from launching an attack on the capital of the Imperial Alliance up in the northern regions of the continent, which could effectively shift the course of the war in favor of the Atlantic Federation.

Crymaria Levinc is the Valkyria we’ll have to face in this entry, which means that she is part of a mythical lineage that holds incredible powers that allow her to destroy tanks from a single blow of energy. The fact that she has grown up in a research facility of the Empire means that she is socially immature and emotionally unstable. Klaus Walz is a commanding officer of the Imperial Army who will be pursuing the Squad E through the icy fields.

Forseti is a tactical officers in the Imperial Science Institute’s special test unit, X-0, who never takes part directly in battles due to his leg injury. Heinrich Belgar is the supervisor of the X-0 unit, and develops the most advanced weapons for the Imperial Army despite the fact that he has not a special patriotic feeling, since he grew up in a separate country annexed by the Empire. Finally, Nikola Graf and Chiara Rocino are two of the most dangerous members of the experimental X-0 unit, who enjoy tormenting their enemies.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 launches on March 21 in Japan for PS4, while it will be released worldwide for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this year. Watch the new trailer below.
