The post continues, “When a table of black diners comes in and places their order we walk back to the kitchen to get your food when ready. There is ALWAYS a blind spot in the kitchen and we are licking our fingers and touching your food. If it happens to be a Texas Roadhouse or Logan’s, those rolls are full of our white saliva. Some of the cooks are in on this too. Think they are playing. They aren’t. Believe me, this has been going on since y’all started this nonsense with Karamello the candy bar Anthony crap. Btw, the group has over 400k members. Enjoy y’all’s food.”

One woman who shared a video discussing the situation described the alleged behavior as “biological warfare” and “terrorism.” She highlighted the anxiety many black diners feel, claiming that eating food prepared by others has become a “big risk.”
Another individual who posted about the claims remarked, “Every single day, y’all continue to prove us right,” while questioning why there is such a persistent level of hostility directed toward black people. A third woman voiced her commitment to no longer patronizing the restaurant chain, labeling those involved as “racist white people.”
The reaction online has been significant, with many viewers expressing deep distrust toward the brand. One commenter wrote, “Girl they are evil and no one can convince me otherwise,” while another asked, “Genuinely what the f— is their obsession with yall????”
Others shared personal anecdotes, with one person claiming, “having just quit Texas Roadhouse as the only Black woman server on a rather full team of mostly whites… I can attest to this.” The widespread nature of these comments shows just how quickly these unverified claims have impacted the public perception of the restaurant.
As reported by Knox News, Texas Roadhouse has responded to the situation on multiple occasions. On August 23, the company released two statements via TikTok. In one, they emphasized their commitment to a welcoming environment, stating, “We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or mistreatment of any kind, and we expect our Roadies to treat every guest with dignity and care.”
In a second post, they addressed the circulating video directly, noting, “We are aware of the video that is being shared with an accusation that has been made toward our restaurants. We believe it to be completely unfounded, and we take every accusation toward our brand seriously. We are investigating this alleged abhorrent behavior and remained committed to treating every guest with respect, dignity, and the Legendary Service they deserve.”
While the restaurant has maintained a stance of investigation, a spokesperson later clarified the company’s position in an email. They described the entire situation as an “online hoax.” According to the spokesperson, the company has found “no credible evidence of food tampering,” and the original Facebook post has since been deleted.
Texas Roadhouse has even engaged a third-party firm to assist in identifying the source of these claims. It is worth noting that the brand recently lost its verification badge on TikTok, though it remains unclear if that change is connected to this specific controversy.
