A TikTok user said she ordered a Diet Coke on Uber Eats at 4 a.m. and received a delivery that looked nothing like a single drink. Leah, who posts as @leahscoobydoobydoo, shared the clip with on-screen text that read, “Ordered a Diet Coke on Uber eats at 4 am & this came instead…?”
The video, which has gained 822,300 views, opens with her filming herself close-up in a dimly lit room. She looks into the camera with a bewildered expression, and there is no spoken dialogue in the clip. The caption on the post reads, “3 milks and 12 2L diet cokes??????”
She also tagged the post with #ubereats, #dietcoke, #FoodTok, #nyctiktok, and #funnyvideos. After the close-up, the camera cuts to a high-angle shot of a tiled floor near a white door, where several brown paper grocery bags are sitting. The camera then pans over the bags.
Bags of soda and milk appear in place of a single drink
Two of the bags appear packed with multiple 2-liter bottles of dark soda. In the caption, she described those bottles as Diet Coke. Two other bags contain gallon jugs of milk with orange caps. The camera zooms in on the soda bags, showing at least six bottles in one bag and six in another.
The shot then pans down to the milk jugs and a smaller bag that appears to hold other grocery items. The video ends with that view of the bulk delivery. She did not say in the clip whether she had ordered the milk or the smaller bag of groceries.
She also did not name the store that filled the order, or say whether she contacted Uber Eats about what arrived. The on-screen text and the caption are the only explanation she gives for the delivery. Viewers were left with her account of a 4 a.m. Diet Coke order and the bags shown on the floor.
In the comments, some people treated the delivery as an unexpected result rather than a problem. One commenter wrote, “Why can’t something like this happen to me.” Another focused on the cost of ordering a single soda for delivery, writing, “ordering a diet coke off uber eats in this economy is wild tbh.” The delivery order itself can be wildly disproportionate, as when a woman ordered one Diet Coke on Uber Eats and delivery drivers showed up with 12 liters of it plus 3 liters of milk.
Not every commenter accepted the story at face value. One asked to see proof of her past orders and wrote, “Show me your uber history cos yall will not rage bait me into thinking this happens to everyone but me.”
Another questioned how a mismatch could clear payment and wrote, “How are they able to buy the wrong thing when the uber plus card used to pay detect higher amount then expected at check out.” One commenter offered a reason the bags might have been left as they were, writing, “They don’t want to have to come back tomorrow.” Another said the items could not be sent back to wherever they came from and wrote, “Best part is, wherever that came from, can’t go back so now it’s yours lmao.”
