The Nintendo Switch had a fairly small launch lineup, but The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild definitely overshadowed the rest. However, there were still some quality titles in the mix, including Fast RMX, which now has received a new update that brings a few new much awaited features.
Fast Racing Neo debuted on the Wii UÂ in late 2015 and really brought back that feel that many have been missing without any new games from the F-Zero franchise. Considering the lack of sales for the Wii U, we were really glad to see Fast RMX come to the Nintendo Switch as well as an expanded version of the original.
For those that were hoping to see additional features added to the game beyond what was added from the Wii U version, you will be very happy to know that version 1.2 for Fast RMX is now live and is completely free.
The 1.2 update for Fast RMX adds a Time Attack mode to the game, adding more to the game modes already available in the base game. With the speed based nature of this game, adding this makes a lot of sense, even if it is bound to get frustrating at times.
Also coming in the 1.2 update is the ability to have online lobbies with friends for easy grouping up online. This was not able to be done before, but now you can more easily have gaming sessions with Fast RMX with your friends online.
With this update coming just a month and a half after release, we are hoping to see even more features come to the game in the future. What type of new content or game modes would you like to see added to Fast RMX? Make sure to let us know in the comments below and don’t forget to go download the latest update that is available now.
