System Shock 3 To Be A VR Game?

System Shock 3 VR

Last week developer Otherside Entertainment gave everyone a nice surprise when they revealed a teaser website for System Shock 3, though the notable lack of information since then has been excruciating to deal with. All we really got was a webpage telling us to sign up for promotions and updates, though now we have a bit more to chew on.

There is now a creepy audio file that you can listen to on the main page, while also a survey to take via Survey Monkey that asks standard things like your age and whether or not you’ve played the first two games in the series. However, the most curious thing about this survey is that it ends with a question asking you to rate on a scale from 1 to 10 your interest in virtual reality gaming.

This definitely would imply that Otherside Entertainment is looking at potentially bringing System Shock 3 to VR devices, in addition to the likely PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC releases. It all depends on how the new virtual reality technology is received next year, but we could definitely end up seeing System Shock and other popular franchises hopping on the VR bandwagon, as well.
