Man makes shocking discovery after agreeing to babysit in a mansion for $1200

Is this real life or fantasy?

A TikTok creator named Uno (@unoreloaded) recently shared a strange story about babysitting for $1,200 over a weekend. The job led him to see how some very wealthy people live. His video has gotten over 346,400 views so far.

“Why the f— did nobody tell me what’s happening in these rich people’s homes?” Uno said in the video, according to Bro Bible. “Because what I saw was something I will never f—ing forget.” The World Inequality Report for 2026 shows that the top 10% of people worldwide earn more money than the bottom 90% combined.

The story started three months ago when Uno was playing basketball at LA Fitness at 6:00 AM. He played with an older man named Jim, who was in his 70s. After they won a game, Jim asked if Uno would watch his kids for the weekend while he and his wife went to the Hamptons. Uno was unsure at first since they had only been playing basketball together for a few months. But when Jim offered $1,200 for the weekend, Uno quickly said yes.

The strange world of extreme wealth reveals uncomfortable truths

Uno noticed Jim drove a BMW and asked what he did for work. Jim said he ran an old family business based on “old oil money.” When they met at Jim’s house on Friday at 7:00 PM, Uno was shocked. The house was a huge mansion with a fountain, a large pool, big pillars, and a wraparound driveway. Jim wore a silk Louis Vuitton outfit.

Inside, there were two large staircases going up to the second floor. Uno then saw Jim’s adopted son, Tyler, who looked about 12 or 13 years old. The boy was looking down from the banister “like he’s never seen a f—ing Black guy before,” Uno said. Jim gave Uno very simple instructions: make sure Tyler “eats every 12 PM and 4 PM.” Like other viral social media moments, this story has captured the internet’s attention.

Uno later found Tyler’s room and was surprised by what he saw. Tyler had a great gaming setup with a PC, curved dual monitors, and an LED keyboard. But the only other thing in the room was a mattress on the floor. When Uno asked why the bed was on the ground, Tyler said, “My dad doesn’t pay for anything.”

Uno then met Jim’s wife, a young woman in her mid-20s who appeared to be Thai, Filipino, or Vietnamese. Uno realized Jim was a “passport bro,” a man who travels to other countries to find romantic partners. Tyler explained that Jim wouldn’t pay for anything related to him because his mother decided to adopt him, and Jim would “do anything for her.”

Tyler said he makes his own money using an app called Relay, which lets him upload content for brands. However, there’s an important detail to note. Uno’s TikTok account often features stories that end with a plug for an app. In another video, he talks about his cousin using Relay to make $2,000 a month.

While the story is interesting, the fact that it always ends with an app advertisement raises questions about how much of the tale is actually true. Some viewers have noted that questionable situations have emerged online that leave people wondering what’s real.
