Love for sports is common, but it can get bizarre when people take it to the next level, putting their loved ones at risk. The UFC president, in a recent podcast, shared his own bizarre story about Chuck Liddell’s fight. He said that when his wife was pregnant with his son Aiden, he was told by the doctors that they might have a normal delivery the same day as the fight. White apparently denied the offer and then requested a C-section to take place a day before the normal delivery.
In a podcast, he shared the incident, stating that his wife was in labor and the doctor told him that she would have a normal delivery on the same date as the fight. He clearly told the doctor that this would not work for him and asked for the date a day earlier to have the operation done before this fight, so that he could be there as well. Even though it was reckless, Dana White took the risk to be present at both events.
Dana White stated, “I said to the doctor, this ain’t gonna work for me.” He casually added, “So we had the C-section earlier.” Even though it was a controversial take, Dana White casually said he took the risk. However, this act could have had serious health implications for his wife and the unborn son.
Dana White is seemingly drifting away from his family as his dedication to UFC could be impacting his personal life
Even though these revelations seem odd, Dana White appears to be quite emotionally distant from his family, as his work ethic and efforts for the UFC might have caused the damage. In December 2022, he was even taped on a video slapping his wife after an incident in a club. The UFC president later issued an apology for his wife, saying, “You’ve heard me say for years. There’s never an excuse for a guy to put his hands on a woman.”
His wife, Anne White, also shed light on this incident, stating, “To say this is out of character for him is an understatement — nothing like this has ever happened before. Unfortunately, we were both drinking too much on New Year’s Eve, and things got out of control on both sides. We’ve talked this through as a family and apologized to each other. I just hope people will respect our privacy for the sake of our kids.”
Even after that event, things seemed to suggest it was a one-time incident. Still, revelations like C-section coming out suggest there is allegedly a rift between Dana and his family due to his obsession with UFC and his professional dealings. These revelations might be disturbing, but it looks like Dana’s family is okay with it. This controversy aside, all eyes are on his UFC White House event, scheduled for Trump’s birthday.
