NFL star Joe Burrow’s model girlfriend built a social media empire, but it’s all at risk after a video surfaced allegedly exposing her dark past

Joe Burrow’s alleged girlfriend, Olivia Ponton, is facing some serious heat after old videos recently went viral. The clips allegedly show her engaging in some pretty controversial behavior. These clips, which have quickly spread across social media, could put her carefully built career and public image at significant risk.

Ponton, who is 23 years old now, first shot to fame as a TikTok creator and model during the pandemic era. She built a massive following on social media, eventually becoming a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, and has even moved into acting and broader entertainment. Her career has really taken off, making her a recognizable face beyond just online content. She even gained mainstream attention for her relationship with country music star Kenny Chesney, which made headlines due to their notable age gap.

According to BroBible, the current narrative has shifted dramatically because of these controversial videos. In one clip circulating online, a blonde woman, allegedly Ponton is seen waving a gun around. She’s also shown lip-syncing and rapping along to Tay-K’s song The Race, where she says the N-word as part of the lyrics, specifically around the line: “Pop a n**** then I go out my way (skrrt). Do the dash, then I go out the way.”

This is not the kind of throwback you want going viral

The controversy deepened with a second video also shows her dancing alongside convicted felon and rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, whom she allegedly dated in the past. The combined imagery, including the gun and the use of the offensive term, is definitely causing a stir. While the exact authenticity and full context of these videos are still unclear, the backlash online is absolutely real. For a public figure, such content can be career-ending, especially for one seeking mainstream appeal.

Ponton has been linked to NFL star Joe Burrow since December 2024, with reports suggesting they had been “hooking up” since early fall. They’ve made several public appearances together, including at Formula 1 Miami in 2025 and Super Bowl weekend events in 2026. Just days before these videos surfaced, Olivia Ponton was spotted supporting Joe Burrow at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Los Angeles.

Burrow’s dating life is always a hot topic in the NFL, his relationship with college sweetheart Olivia Holzmacher was a constant. They met at Ohio State and stayed together through his time at LSU, his national title win, and his rise as the number one overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Holzmacher was a familiar face during the Cincinnati Bengals’ Super Bowl run and was a steady support through Burrow’s injuries and career highs.

Their relationship was known for being grounded and low-profile, which was really appreciated by fans. Things changed late in 2024. A burglary at Burrow’s Ohio home unexpectedly brought Olivia Ponton into the public eye after she reportedly called 911. That incident fueled speculation about Burrow’s relationship status, though the quarterback chose to remain publicly silent.

Since then, Ponton has been frequently seen with Burrow, solidifying their alleged connection.
