Today’s seems like the perfect day for Frictional Games to release a new trailer for Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, being Halloween and all, and that’s just what they’ve done. This two minute spot of the upcoming indirect sequel gives a glimpse at the terror that is expected to arrive in early 2013.

The first game, titled Amnesia: The Dark Descent , is a first person survival horror game that immerses you in a walking nightmare. The game uses an interesting mix of scare tactics that contemporary survival horror games have long since abandoned.

Details are slim on A Machine for Pigs, but if you’re looking for a game to get you in the mood for Halloween and haven’t tried Amnesia yet, the game is available on Steam and GOG for $5.
