After showing Diablo 3 on the PlayStation at Sony’s PS4 event last month, many thought that the console version of the dungeon crawler could be a PlayStation exclusive. Not true says Blizzard. The game could be coming to other platforms, but the company isn’t quite ready to announce anything just yet.
Josh Mosqueira told Penny Arcade, “We don’t have any announcements to make at this time, but we’re not necessarily a Sony exclusive.”
While it may not be a PlayStation exlusive, Blizzard has been showing off the game at PAX East on the PlayStation 3. The video below is the first gameplay of Diablo 3 on PlayStation 3. Blizzard’s PAX East presence is big this year, during a panel dedicated to a new announcement the company unveiled Heroes of Warcraft, a free-to-play card trading game.
