Forza Motorsport 5 for the Xbox One ushered in a new generation for racing games setting a high bar for both gameplay and visuals. Unfortunately the game released with a stripped down set of features, options, cars, and tracks when compared to other games in the series.
As we said in our review, “Forza Motorsport 5 is the best looking, and best playing Forza game ever made. It’s an absolute stunner on the Xbox One. Head to toe, this is one of the best looking driving games to ever grace home consoles.”
Since this released, there’ve been a couple more proper Forza titles to arrive on the Xbox One and Xbox One X. With the latest iteration in the Forza series reaching 4K resolution and 60FPS gameplay.
What’s next for the Forza series in 2018 and beyond? That’s anyone’s guess but it doesn’t seem like Microsoft is going to be making any drastic moves in terms of the timing of Forza releases which is about every other year.
