Pokemon Go has been capturing the hearts of not just fans, but pretty much everybody since it launched almost three weeks ago. If somebody you know has a smart phone, there’s a very good chance they’ve at least downloading the app, and now one of the biggest name in gaming has revealed that he has also joined in on the fun.
We’ve seen plenty of celebrities and people involved with the game industry posting and talking about Pokemon Go since its launch, which just shows how popular it has gotten. It seems like more and more people are giving it a try and the latest is none other than Hideo Kojima.
Since leaving Konami at the end of 2015, Kojima has started his own gaming company and gave us the incredibly reveal of its first game at E3 with Death Stranding. However, that didn’t stop him from giving Pokemon Go a try.
Kojima took to his Twitter to post “So now I’ll start PokemonGo!” along with a picture of his phone on the loading screen of the Japanese version of the game.
Of course, people have started joking online that this will cause him to take longer on Death Stranding. It will be interesting to see if Kojima has any more tweets about how he likes the game, though I wouldn’t count on that.
