Fans have been very vocal about The Witcher 3 and its many shortcomings after release and many glitches and issues that have appeared in the following days. Now it seems CD Projekt Red is attempting to clear the air by fixing the issues and keep up with any issues that arise. In that respect, they have been doing a very good job.

The latest Xbox One patch 1.03 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which we heard about yesterday that locks the Xbox One version at 30 FPS is set to release today according to CD Projekt Red Community Lead, Marcin Momot who posted the following via Twitter.

“Patch 1.03 should be available for XBOX users today. Sorry for the wait!”

PlayStation 4 fans who have been experiencing an XP glitch where they weren’t rewarded for their efforts can look forward to next week for the 1.04 patch which will fix this issue. Mormot announced this via the games official forums. In it, he went on to explain the glitch and the timing for both PC & PlayStation 4 players with PC receiving 1.04 patch as early as Monday and PlayStation 4 following. He also went on to add that there are even more patches in the pipeline and they will continue to work to fix the issues that have arisen with the game.

“We would like to let everyone know that we are aware of the XP glitch players are reporting and we are working to have it fixed as soon as possible across all platforms (Monday for PC & patch 1.04 on consoles in the following days).

At the same time we want to shed some light on the issue. First of all, it doesn’t impact the game balance in any significant way. Also, you will be able to finish the game with your character achieving a level within the threshold we had in mind when we designed the game.

We hope this clears things up a bit. Again, rest assured, we won’t stop working on improving the game and there are more patches coming in the near future.”

He was asked on the forums if the patch would give players the lost XP back, but sadly he responded with an apologetic “No. The XP won’t be added back for the finished quests. Sorry about this.” Guess if you are experiencing this issue, your best bet is to stop playing until the patch is released next week to avoid getting no experience at all for doing quests and other major goals in the game.
