The GTA Online Ill-Gotten Gains Update is now available for players to download and enjoy. This is just part one of a two part update aimed at bringing higher end items to the game. These new items should allow longtime players to spend some of that cash they’ve been hoarding.
“The Ill-Gotten Gains Update: Part One for Grand Theft Auto Online is available today across all five platforms,” reads the announcement. “In addition to four new high-end automobiles (the Pegassi Osiris, Albany Virgo, Benefactor Stirling GT and Enus Windsor), you can also rule the skies in a pair of new extravagant, Deluxe aircraft.”
Those “Deluxe aircraft” are the gold plated beauties you can see above. Users who have received the update report that the jet alone costs $10 million. Along with all of this comes the Combat PDW, and high-end engravings and wraps for various in-game items. The vehicle wraps are especially interesting, giving cars a designer look.
To wrap things up, Rockstar has added a few technical items to this update. PS4 and Xbox One versions of GTA V will now have the first-person vehicle hood cam that was already in the PC edition. They have also redesigned the websites used to buy various items, such as vehicles, making it easier to blow your hard earned GTA$.
The GTA Online update should download automatically upon starting up the game. The file size is reportedly over 6GB, so get ready for some download time.
