Some footage of the new Spider-Man PS4 game was revealed earlier this week. Insomniac Games took to Twitter to clarify that everything was in-game footage.
As you may know already, the PS4 Pro was announced earlier this week and it can play games in 4K. Footage of Spider-Man PS4 was shown and it looked very impressive.
Insomniac Games went on Twitter to reply to many questions that fans had about the new game. They confirmed that what was shown earlier this week was in-game footage running in real time. It wasn’t just pre-rendered or CGI.
The developer also confirmed that you don’t need a PS4 Pro in order to enjoy the game’s graphics. They said that original PS4 owners won’t be left behind. They also confirmed that the game has a playable build, although they’re not ready to show off any gameplay footage yet.
Spider-Man PS4 is still in its early stages so a release date is still unknown. Insomniac said they will only show gameplay when they are ready for it. For those asking, the game is an original story featuring an older Peter Parker. It won’t have to do anything with the Homecoming movie or the Marvel movies in general. The game is also a PS4 exclusive and won’t be released elsewhere.
