Official Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens Blu-ray/DVD Release Date Revealed; 3D Coming Later

Disney has now announced the official release date for the Blu-ray/DVD versions of Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens. For those that want it on 3D Blu-ray, you will have to wait until later this year to get it.

The 2D Blu-ray and DVD versions of Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens will be out on April 5th, 2016. This means that the UK listing that was revealed earlier this week was wrong as that date showed April 18th, 2016. People that want the movie digitally will get it on April 1st, 2016. The special features can be seen below.

There will also be deleted scenes, but Disney did not share any specific details on them yet. We do know that there are 7 or 8 scenes that were cut and will be put on the Blu-ray. A trailer for Blu-ray/DVD can be viewed below.
