Grand Theft Auto PC

Dan Houser, the cofounder of Rockstar games has stated that Grand Theft Auto V is merely “up for consideration” on the PC. Fans must believe that the decision is strongly dependent on demand, as there seems to be a strong following on a Change.org petition for the open-world action title, claiming over 200,000 signatures.

The petition, spearheaded by Mike Julliard, reminds us that “GTA is an amazing PC game and the idea of it not being on PC is a mistake”. GTA V is due September 17th, 2013.

 Poor Ouya Software Sales

The struggles that Ouya has been facing are not surprising to say the least. The Android-powered console lacks the power and versatility of most other offerings on the market, and despite being a potential open-source emulator for all of our favorite games-of-the-past, is quite the tough sale. Smartphones and Tablets can play nearly every game on sale for the device, making the Ouya one of the worlds least luxurious luxury items.

While there are plenty of reasons to purchase one – all of which will be noted in our upcoming review of the device and several of its games, IGN is reporting very poor sales for the software.

  • Ravensword: Shadowlands: $100 to $200 per day since launch.
  • Radiangames (Inferno+, Ballistic): over 3000 free downloads, and only about 100 sales in the first six days.
  • Wind-Up Knight: 15,000 free downloads, and only about 1,500 sales overall.
  • Knightmare Tower: 49,000 free downloads, 2,100 purchases.

Some sales have been more adequate than others, but gamers don’t seem to be spending money in the Ouya market. While there’s still hope for an increase in sales as the library expands, only time will tell.

God Of War News Soon To Come

God of War developer Sony Santa Monica recently tweeted a random and rather interesting clip. The teaser seems to indicate some sort of God of War related announcement that is soon to come, and can be found on the Sony Santa Monica instagram.

Since the strange clip was revealed, another has surfaced on their official twitter account. This clip, also short and sweet, can be found on their instagram as well.
