If you have downloaded PS Vita system update 3.57, you may know that the new update is causing problems. Many people cannot seem to visit the PlayStation Store and their battery life is shorter for some reason.
Kotaku reports that many PS Vita owners that have downloaded the newest 3.57 update have been having many problems. One of the biggest troubles is trying to log into the PlayStation Store.
Some users are logging into the PlayStation Store and it causes them to wait for over ten minutes or more. Others cannot seem to play their digitally downloaded video games anymore. Another huge issue is that the battery drains its power faster than usual.
Bear in mind, the issues only affect some people. That’s not to say this isn’t a widespread problem, but not every person is encountering issues. I downloaded the update a few days ago and have had no problems using my own PS Vita. I managed to visit the PlayStation Store fine and my digital games work. Not to mention my battery was functioning normally.
Hopefully Sony considers releasing a new PS Vita update soon to rectify some of the problems owners are having right now. There’s nothing worse than a system software update ruining the functionality of a video games console.
