Forensic psychologist examines new Epstein surveillance footage and says what he found proves a deliberate cover-up

The cameras "weren't working," sure.

A forensic psychologist says he has found clear proof that officials covered up the real story behind Jeffrey Epstein’s death. Dr. John Paul Garrison looked at new video footage from the New York jail where Epstein died and says the evidence doesn’t add up.

According to the Daily Mail, the videos came from cameras that were supposedly broken and not recording. But Garrison says the footage exists, which proves someone lied about the cameras not working. The videos show areas near Epstein’s cell that could have captured what happened the night he died.

The biggest problem is that several important hours are missing from the footage. The video jumps from 11pm on August 9, 2019, to 1am on August 10, and then from 2am to 9am. Epstein was found dead in his cell at 6:30am, so the entire time around his death is completely gone from the recordings.

The surveillance footage contradicts official government reports

The government said Epstein killed himself by hanging, and there was no evidence anyone else was involved. But Garrison says the videos don’t match what government reports claimed about the cameras.

Official documents from the Department of Justice and FBI emails said the prison’s recording system wasn’t working that night and couldn’t save any footage. But the videos that were released prove the system was actually recording. This means either someone deleted footage or officials lied about which cameras were working.

“‘I am confident that additional footage was recorded on the night of Epstein’s death, at least to one DVR system that was known to be functional. In my opinion, the explanation that the footage simply has never existed is not credible,” he said.

Garrison works at the Georgia School of Professional Psychology and has become popular online for analyzing major criminal cases. He shared his findings in a YouTube video that went viral. Similar to how authorities investigate suspicious incidents, investigators are now questioning the official narrative.

The forensic expert also pointed out problems with Epstein’s autopsy report. Medical records show that just days before his death, Epstein complained that his right arm and neck were numb and he couldn’t make a fist. Garrison says this makes it unlikely Epstein could have torn the tough prison sheets by hand to make a noose.

The autopsy also described Epstein’s body in ways that don’t match what witnesses said. One alleged victim described his appearance very differently than what the medical examiner wrote, which Garrison says is strange because autopsy reports are normally very detailed and accurate.

The discrepancies in official documentation mirror cases where hidden details emerge later, raising more questions about what really happened. Garrison told the Daily Mail he personally believes Epstein was murdered, though he can’t prove it medically.
