Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will incorporate a ton of naval missions, 40% to be exact. A recent preview event for Black Flag has shed some light on just how focused Ubisoft is on the sea faring aspect of the next Assassin’s Creed game.
Jean Guesdon broke down just how many missions will take you out to sea in Assassin’s Creed IV.
Guesdon told videogamer: “Mission wise, land missions will represent approximately 60% of the game and naval ones 40%. But if you take the global experience that players will leave with, we’re talking about 50-50.”
This 50-50 mix will call back to Assassin’s Creed “pillars” mixed with pirate opportunities.
“Free-running, social stealth and combat are still the key pillars,” in Assassin’s Creed 4 the developer explained. However “The Seamless systemic open-world system packed full of sea and underwater activities will represent a big part of the game.”
