EA and Maxis are still combating issues for their recently release Sim City. The game has seen its fair share of connection issues since launch, and EA has recently confirmed that they are encountering problems with their server architecture.
Their answer is to throw more servers at the problem in hopes to remedy the situation for as many players as possible. Maxis says that they’ll be deploying more servers over the next few days, and this should “alleviate many of the ongoing issues”.
“What we are doing is deploying more servers over the coming two days which will alleviate many of the ongoing issues,” the post reads. “We are also paying close attention to all the bug reports we are receiving from our fans. We’ve already pushed several updates in the last few days. Our live ops team is working 24/7 to resolve issues and ensure that bug fixes roll into the game as quickly as possible.”
Sim City launched earlier this week, only for players to find trouble in accessing the online-only city building simulator.
