Plants vs Zombies 2 has been delayed, and will now release “later in the summer”, instead of the originally slated July 18th launch date. The good news is, that you can continue to crush candies with the rest of the free world’s favorite game: Candy Crush Saga. The bad news is, it’s not PvZ2.
The announcement was made via the game’s official Twitter account: “Plants vs. Zombies 2, originally slated for a July 18th release, will now be released later in the summer. Stay tuned for more details.”
There’s no word on when this new title will arrive, specifically. Though it was announced that when it does finally release, Plants vs Zombies 2 will arrive on Apple devices first. It’ll also slide into the free to play genre, offering up micro-transactions to monetize the game.
