Microsoft has filed a trademark application for something called ‘Screamride’, and its got all the telltale signs of a new game in the works. Classified as “Game Software”, the trademark application is made for “Entertainment services, namely, providing an online computer game.”

Though the name ‘Screamride’ itself is definitely a mystery. Despite numerous leaks from earlier this year that allegedly outed Microsoft’s E3 2014 plans, this could be one new game that Microsoft has managed to keep under wraps.

If we’re to hear about it, E3 would be a good spot for a reveal. The upcoming games convention should be game-centric for Microsoft, as the company attempts to have a better showing at the convention than they did last year, in the wake of consumer backlash towards the reveal of controversial Xbox One features.
