If you want to play WWE 2K14 online this week but it’s down, don’t be alarmed because the game is just going under maintenance.
WWE 2K’s Community Manager, Jared Rea, made an announcement regarding the maintenance on the official 2K forums.
“Beginning this Tuesday (6/24) at 9PM PDT, WWE2K14 services will be offline for an intensive scheduled maintenance. We fully intend on bringing these services back online this coming Friday (6/27) by 4PM PDT. During this period you will not be able to access any of the online functionality of WWE2K14 and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Any and all updates will be made to this thread, so please stay tuned! Thanks!”
This basically means WWE 2K14 will not be offering online services for at least three days this week. You cannot play online or download created content either. This doesn’t mean the game itself is not entirely unplayable. You can still play the game offline as many times as you wish.
It’s also worth mentioning this maintenance is specific for WWE 2K14 only. As far as I am aware, there is no PSN or Xbox Live maintenance being done this week. Most of your other games will be playable online this week.
